Ralph Birt

Ralph has almost 20 years of financial services experience with a deep expertise in mortgages and structured products, as well as more recent involvement in corporate finance, capital raising, M&A and broker-dealer operations and compliance.

Ralph co-founded TTWRB Ventures to provide structured finance advisory and valuation services as well as debt capital raising solutions in specialty finance with a particular focus on merchant cash advance. Additionally the firm provides advisory across multiple asset classes including residential and commercial mortgages, reverse mortgages, auto and consumer loans.

Prior to this Ralph was a co-founder and Principal at TSU Capital, a boutique financial advisory firm focused on structured products advisory and sourcing for primarily buy-side clients, advising on over $3 billion in whole loan and structured products transactions.

From 2012 to 2014, Ralph was a founding partner and COO for a boutique broker-dealer, leading efforts from initial formation to growing the firm to a team of almost 40 professionals with offices in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. His responsibilities included overseeing daily operations of the broker-dealer including compliance and regulatory reporting along with firm strategy, client coverage and oversight of the sales and trading businesses.

Ralph began his career at Goldman Sachs, spending almost 10 years in various roles within Principal Finance, Structured Products and Market Risk.

Ralph graduated from Stanford University with a BA in Economics and holds the FINRA Series 4, 7, 24, 63 and 99 securities licenses.

Rodgers Birt

Rodgers has more than a decade of experience across actuarial and financial services positions. He brings a broad risk management, financial modeling and operations background to TTWRB Ventures.

Rodgers co-founded TTWRB Ventures to leverage to his actuarial and technical background and it’s applications in structured finance. He also wanted to develop a platform to pursue opportunities in specialty finance and the alternative investment space.

Prior to joining TTWRB, Rodgers worked at Prudential Financial in a variety of actuarial roles, covering a broad spectrum of insurance and financial products in Reinsurance, Long Term Care, and Individual Life. He has extensive experience in cash flow testing and duration analysis, stress testing, financial reporting, and asset and liability cash flow modeling and valuation.

Rodgers began his career working as an analyst for a distressed debt focused fund in addition to pursing a startup venture focused on currency trading and real estate investment.

Rodgers has a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Stanford University.
